Hello Soft Crafters,
Welcome back to Soft Pins.
Ooof… What. A. Week.
I feel like we all need this extra this week.
I know we are all feeling a lot of emotions right now. That’s normal, and it would be weird if we weren’t. I know I’ve gone through about 10 cycles of sadness, rage, and stress—and that was just this morning.
I think it’s important to feel them all so they don’t fester inside. One way I always make myself feel better is by harnessing that anger and sadness into creativity. I know that’s not for everyone. It can be really hard to create when things feel so uncertain.
I just want you all to know that I’m here for you. This space has already felt so calming and special to me, and now, more than ever, I’m going to make it a space where we can all just relax and take our minds off things. Or not, and just be together as a crafting community. Community is what we need to uplift right now.
That being said here are my pins of the week.

Ella, thank you. I cannot begin to imagine what your family is dealing with right now. We are all devastated but determined to see what we can do with guidance from our young people. Kamala is a true gem. I am madly knitting a hat for my granddaughter and you are right…there is joy in producing something warm and comforting. Onward. Judith
Like Toni Morrison said, “This is precisely the time when artists go to work…”. Cuddle cardigans for all. Thank you, Ella 💖
