Thanks for this reminder. I am a long time knitter but a new crocheter. I need to get off my phone and back to the soothing regularity of knit and crochet
I’ve been knitting for a while now and *never* realized you’re supposed to knit the end stitches, regardless of the side you’re working 🤯 super helpful tip!
I want to learn how to knit, so this video is so timely, thank you! 💥Tangible activities are tools that really ground me and knitting is next on the list, in addition to gardening, cooking, crafting, etc.
I teach knitting 101 to groups of 6-8 probably 15+ times a year, and it's so helpful to watch someone else teach it! I always pick up a new way to describe something that I can apply to my classes. Interesting that you teach stockinette right off the bat- I start students off with garter stitch and we don't learn to purl until our second class.

Hello I'm always interested in knitting crafts and crochet

Totally unrelated to knitting, but I love the vintage Ricky Craven sweatshirt!
This was great! Thanks so much! I've been knitting forever and never knew about the "slip the first stitch" or the "knit the last stitch" technique.

This was so soothing, to even just watch you knit. I’ve knitted for a long time, but learned a new way to finish off—thanks!
