Hey Ella, you may want to lesson your use of Superwash yarn because it's not considered environmentally friendly because the process used to treat it releases harmful chemicals into the environment. The chemicals can pollute water and harm ecosystems. :-( I knit with it for socks sometimes, but that's about it. It's always something, right?

Great yarns. Lucky you! If you don’t know Regia you should. It may not be the most luxurious, but it’s a good yarn and wears like iron. It’s very similar to the Opal sock yarns. I’m wearing Regia socks I knit almost 30 years ago. Yes, a couple of pairs are darned. If you have it in solids, so much the better.

No, this was Not boring! It felt like Christmas to me, too, and I don't even knit. I love imagining the joy this will bring so many people learning a new skill, and look forward to seeing any future projects wrought from these donated materials. Thank you!

How incredibly exciting! I love yarn and yarn artistry -- which you have in spades -- but I was never blessed with that talent. Thanks for sharing with us!

A little commotion for the corn cob side table too. 🌽😍 I just started knitting flat a week ago after a year of crocheting and I’m obsessed and can’t wait to start in the knitting in the round!

Why would filtering through boxes in closets be boring Ella? Those of us who care, know well enough that filtering through the closet is usually a revisit of life & history. Which oftentimes evokes emotion & tears.Fond yarns, fond memories. It’s not about boring. It’s about YOU & the history of you & how your yarns intertwine that. BEST 45’ish minutes I’ve spent in a long time. I still have a broken toe & need warm socks tho. 😂🤣
